Four places to sleep. Each its own address.

Set across more than four acres of Sonoran Desert, Saguaro Retreat unfolds gradually—through courtyards, gardens, private wings and spaces that seem to belong entirely to themselves.
The house doesn’t announce itself. It unfolds.
Here, privacy is not an amenity added to the house. It is the way the
house meets the land.
Offered at $6.5 million
The Property
The scale is considerable. The experience is surprisingly intimate.
The main residence, guest spaces and outdoor rooms are arranged across the desert rather than contained beneath a single roof. Separation is part of the architecture. So is the space between.

The Evolution of the House
The best decisions came after living here.
Over five years the house was reconsidered piece by piece. Some rooms went back to the studs. Kitchens and baths were rebuilt, systems replaced, new places to gather and spend time outside added. Other changes were quieter: the landscape, the technology, the way the property lives.
Not renovated for resale.
Refined by five years of living in it.

The Setting
Saguaro Ranch is a 1,200-acre gated community in the Tortolita Mountains, reached through a rock tunnel bored roughly 600 feet through the mountain itself. There is no other way in.

The Surroundings
Private enough to feel completely removed. Convenient enough for everyday life.
Approximately 80% of Saguaro Ranch is permanently preserved as open space, with only 20% given to homesites and community amenities. It protects the Sonoran Desert and it holds the density down, which is why the quiet outside the door is permanent. Beyond the gates, everything is closer than it feels.
